that is exactly what i want mine to look like(plus ITB's)... however i'll be doing a shit tin of work with the die grinder...
hopefully i will have the extractors and side pipe made up in the next couple of months for the 5MGE. will be very similar to what that bloke has done.
    dam it looks good though

I love reminissing on the old times , it was the year 1996 when i traded my 5ME for a 9000klm old crown 6MG . I ran the 6M off the 5M EFI gear and boy what a improvment over a fully ballanced and bluprinted 5ME that i had . I then got all the propper 6M EFI bits and gained another 20 % ,In my 1350 KG mark 2 with a W58 it was a very quick unit for the time . Dave

If you are after a nice looking, nice sounding engine that doesn't have to be mega fast I would just get something like this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ba8sT...eature=related

May not be as different but still pretty damn rare

    Damn Straight!

All these 'modern' motors covered in plastic, hiding all the cool engineered bits!

did well and truely consider the 1uz and ITB's however bang for buck you may as well go own the 1/2J road.... the bellhousing conversion kit from a couple of joints were more then the engine its self...on top of the fact a 6MGE is a straight bolt in.
no custom fitting so i can put the money i save in fitting into some awsome sounding induction noise

    modern motors ARE plastic.

i will never own an engine with a plastic intake manifold lol
