5AT is an A650E (These are used in plenty of decent power cars)
4AT is a A47DE (These are not)
IS200 auto trans..
i'm considering a 1JZ auto single turbo for the mrs to drive as a daily
just wanted to know what box they run behind the 1GFE, A304e or A340 ?? i don't know much about the auto boxes...
are tailshaft splines the same between the two boxes?
for tailshaft, linkage, and crossmember mounts.. just trying to get an idea of what i would have to make, not really worried about finding bits to bolt it all in (from an IS300 for example), as i can fabricate mounts etc etc if needed..
as i would like to try and keep the factory auto consol/gear map.

right-o the IS300 has the A650E... safe to say as only the 300's were 5spd auto... the 200's were 4spd auto...
You do realise it will be half the cost to buy an auto JZX100 than it will be to buy an IS200 and stick a 1jzgte in it...

yeh but it's not an IS200
i don't really want a chaser... although it's alot better looking than it's fatter cousin the aristo...
