    Default 1jzgte idle issues

    Hello Guys

IVe got a wired Idle problem with my 1JZ.. During cold start its fine...Once warmed up idle is at 1000rpm sometimes its 700rpm.. Ive cleaned out the ISCV and problem still occurs also

Another thing If I drive the car to operating temp and say turn it off for 15mins and come back to start it will idle at 200rpm and sometimes stall when trying to take off..current fix for this is to tap the go pedel!

Car drives fine boost fine all the way to 16 psi no cut out also check ECU and no caps buggerd from what I can see

hmmmm will see. might take the ecu out again and get a closer look. I though the ecu caps issue only affected driving. as it runs great

Check it is powered, in particular by a relay switched by the M-REL output on the engine ECU

iscv was pretty fudged in the end didnt do the 3 clicks after turn off! so I modified a 7MGTE one to fit car sits just under 1000 evertime now but issue is still when I start the car after 30-60mins of driving and its still warm it will idle under 500 and stumble...I give the pedel a tap and it raises to 800rpm!! Ive checked the caps and resolderd them as it seems they have been replaced at some stage but dogey solder used

did this solve ur issue mate... i have the exact same issue, car just converted, idles low all the time, if i dissconnect the battery and reconnect after 1 minute it starts then idles near 1000 rpm, iscv compensates as it should for a/c and steering and gear selection and continues this as long as i want unil engine is shut off, then if i restart again it will stall and idle very low! ive reset it 5 times and still no permanent results... cleaned iscv, voltage is ok, im wondering if it could be an ecu issue?

this issue still occurs for me. but its gotten worse every now and then when I start it after its been warm and cooled down it will start then stall happens about 3 times then it starts and revs at 200rpm....I thought It was the iscv causing the issue so I modded a 7MGTE one to fit and issue still happend!!

ide be checking for vaccuum leaks... could be a slight crack in a hose... thus causing the ecu to not know what is going on... have you noticed it running rich at all when these symptoms occur... moreso the low idle than the high...

when cold the hoses will all shrink slightly and this might be enough to block any holes and keep the idle correct... then once warm the hoses will expand and then your issues appear to start...
