I was in Castlemaine yesterday and it was raining. I am not going to be able to make it to Winton today either. I hope the weather improves for you guys.

...yeah weather was better today.........a BMW 2002 rolled about 6 times coming out of the sweeper so that was impressive......driver walked away ok......everything else was good as always........just a damn shame about the weather!

Yeah that happened right in front of me, got a few photos of the aftermarth, that alone was worth the price of entry. All in all it was a good days racing.

    the racing sunday was great
although i noticed that they didnt have the mini,s mixing it with the big boys like last year
grahams brother phill did well , his mini was at the pointy end of the field
another highlight was the little lotus clubman chasing the pantera and at times there was only a half a car length between them , rod hadfield bought up his monster , i havnt got any good piccys of this , but it has to be seen to be believed it has a rolls v12 tank engine

as said by others the weather was shit on the saturday
thyis was the first time that i can remember it being that wet for the historic meeting

the little BMW didnt look as good after rolling about 6 times

    this caught my eye
it was a beautifully built trailer that was prepared as good as the Bugatti that was on it
it had a lot of old yacht fittings ,the winch is a yacht one with the winch rope going through a porthole
all the timber is polished , a lot of time has been spent on it

this old motor bike was interesting
it has a four cylinder in line motor from an austin 7
the ingenious thing is that it retains the austin gearbox and has a right angle drive from the gear box to the drive chain , it sits neatly just under the seat , although you voice could change if the chain came of the sprocket
it would have been the gnats nuts in its day

Hey sillyrabbit... Do i spy your bro making some minor contact with another mini in this vid (at 1:42)? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=unBxVhRZ9ns
The minis are great to watch for close racing.

I've been trying to find a vid of the BMW crash. I can't find anything though.
