I can't believe people can actually mention 300rwkw and CT12A's in the same sentence, and actually believe it.

But hey that's cool, a tuner can make a dyno read what ever the f*** they want I guess to give the owner a hard on......

rob would of totally agreed with you before leigh started his mission, but the amount of thought and time and ideas he's thrown at it, I reckon he'll come very very close if not just over (without the fiddling of the dyno settings etc)

Rob you will be surprised what a big hit of NOS can do for any engine... as above Jak on these forums has taken the stock turbos to another level by using big hits of NOS... he doesnt use a dyno to back up his claims either, he uses the big black dyno aka drag strip and is a bees dick off running a 10 second quarter mile in a full body toyota cressida with a stock 1JZ including stock CT12A turbos.

Members Ride Thread - i cant tell if there is a dyno graph as imageshack is blocked at work but as JZA70 R says, they have the proof in the strip times which i believe is a far better indication of 'true' power.

Ok thats cool, but in 20,000 - 30,000 KM's will they still be running and in one piece?

Sh*t guess with the twin Garrett GT25's I should get 400rwkw!!! every day on pump fuel before breakfast

Haha Rob, funny you should say that theyve already nuked one poor 1JZ. Spat a rod out the side of the block on the dyno...

Oh and 600rwkw should be a snap with a 400kw shot of nos! (with your GT25's

    LOL

Figures don't mean a thing unless the car is reliable at the same time.

from memory they hav done 1 set of turbo's and it was only due to getting smokey, it didn't drop the rear wheel into the exhaust.

the engine always had a funny knock in it from the start which then (over a year later) decided it would show itself as a fooked big end.

instead of just baggin out what they have done how bout you try to beat them?

btw i was there for a 314kw run from kade's car and i know for a fact the dyno is legit (my 1jz pulls 263rwkw on the same dyno and 280rwkw on the SAS dyno)

    cheers
    linden

ps, doubt GT25's would get you there (without nos) but a set of GT28's will

Already am... I'm putting twin GT25/60 ballbearing cores into CT12A housings.

However, since I won't be running on the same dyno their car was on, the figure can't even be compared.
