is it the type of iscv that can be pulled apart (i.e. screws around body)? Did you run carby cleaner or similar through the iscv?
try to do the electrical check to make sure it moves.
make sure the throttle is closed properly and tps set correctly.
heyas,
This issue has been since i have owned my car, boosted jzs147(2jzgte Aristo)
When cold it idles at a solid 1250rpm.....once it is warmed up it idles at a solid 1100rpm.
i have checked the TRSM at it says it should be 750 -+50rpm, i have checked the ISCV (IAC for some) to make sure its within spec, it is...i havent checked whether it works properly using electricity(checks that it moves in/out)
I have reset the ecu many times and it doesnt change the idle, if anything it actually idles slightly higher for the first fews hours of driving.
have checked for vac leaks, there are none, pulled the ISCV off cleaned slapped it back in (just cleaned the gaskets and the 2 surfaces(manifold and ISCV) and no change.
air-con idle up works fine (only increases 50rpm or so)
ecu codes, 34(abnormal boost pressure) THATS IT!
any ideas anyone??
anything that i have missed??
cheers soti

throttle is closed properly, ill look at the trsm to see how to set the tps.
the reason i didnt do an electrical test for the ISCV is coz it has the coolant lines running to it, CBF taking them off...am yet to put carby cleaner through it.
yes its got the phillips screws that hold it to the body of the iscv, didnt want to risk stripping them...

see how you go with the carby cleaner it may fix it.
Worst case you will have to take it off to make sure it works and check the valve.
id try taking the phillips off

When the engine is at running temp and there is no A/C load the stepper motor should be shut completely. To test this just take the air hose to it off and block it, there should be no change to the idle speed. If there is then the stepper has a problem. If there is no change then you just need to adjust the throttle plate stopper.
similar problem with my 1jz, sometimes idles 900ish, usually anywhere from 1100 - 1300 :s... replaced the ISCV less than 6 months ago but thats not to say this one has shit itself too.
