I've got a decent vibration in my tailshaft and judging by the slop in the yoke (up/down) it seems to be the bronze bush inside the extension housing that has worn out. Placing the yoke in one of my spare gearboxes there is a lot less movement. Does anyone know of a simple tool that is able to remove/refit these bushes? I'm not wanting to remove the whole extension housing at this point if I can avoid it as the box is in a converted car which makes it a fair bit of work. Also does anyone know a place whree I could order JUST the bush. I calleld one gearbox reco'n shop and they would not sell it separate from a 700$ kit. Was almost 5pm so did not try bursons/repco as yet? Do they stock them? Thanks for any info trying to get as much planned after hours so I can rip into it tomorrow morning b4 work and hopefully have it on the road again. Thanks
