    Default Turbo oil feed leaking

So I've managed to get the car to idle at the moment, and the turbo is leaking oil.

The only spot I can find that it's leaking oil from is the oil feed(inlet), there's no oil coming out of either the compressor or turbine seals, and the drain is equally dry.

So I pull out the oil feed, and it's the one that the supplier gave me, not some egay thing, so I assume that it should seal properly. But it's leaked oil from out of the feed hole/fitting inlet area, and out either side of the gasket.

now the only thing I can think of is that it's either not sealing properly, OR there's too much oil pressure coming from the 1uz..

Now the later would surprise me given that ALL the thing has done is idle, it's not done a single thing else. It therefore shouldn't have much oil pressure (well, not an OVERLY high amount anyway).

Are there any other thoughts on this?

I was thinking that maybe the oil drain wasn't working properly and it's getting backed up, but there's no oil out the front or rear of the turbo, so I don't see how that would work.

    Thoughts?

It must be a leak in the oil inlet connection, if the connection is of a proper type(speedlfow, banjo etc) it should take a fair but of pressue to blow oil out of it(like 200+psi) If is fitted correctly. If your oil drain is blocked up then a smokescreen out of your exhaust would be fair indicator. Phone up supplier. abuse. recieve replacement. win.

Yeah, I think your right. It's a faulty fittings. That will save me from being in all sorts of pain.
