The sump return is only "just" big enough to be used as an oil return for the turbo. Make sure you have lots of vertical angle and large hoses 5/8 minimal.

What excatly do I need? Would it be wothwhile to go Oil Send>Oil Cooler>Turbo>Oil Return? Or would that not work?

Also I've never taken a sump off, is there much work involved in that?

Something like 24 m6 bolts, for my oil feed i just used a port off my aftermarket sandwich plate, for you though yes you can use the Oil send port>Turbo>Drain.

you really need to take the sump off if what cuzzo says is true, you may as well do it properly and take it off and drill, you cant afford to have any Shit* in your oil system.

if you have a boilermaker handy, you could possibly get a 75mm EA* i think falcon throttle body from a wreckers have a plate drilled out to suit it in aluminum, cut the front off the 4age inlet manifold , get the new plate tig or mig welded on there and use that, a fair amount of work but it would be good for response, and maybe a few ponies

Plenty more the 2 dude, I've seen a few in NSW including a Turbo'd one that turned up to a toymods dyno day & WSID a few years back it was making around 160-180kw at the wheels IIRC, I beat him down the 1/4 mile as well it err had very little traction.
    If in doubt power out

Im on a real budget thats all. And everything has to be done before March as Uni means no more money haha. I know there's the mantra of you get what you pay for but I do want to do it for cheap, and mainly the essentuals. Mind you my father might beable to mig a plate onto the manifold in retrospect. Lol my spelling is shocking after a late night of drinking.

Will that sandwich plate I post a pic of work as a send and return? or just a send. If it can send and recive oil then thatl be easier for me.

Back to TBs will any 4age throttle body work or only some. I wouldn't mind ITBs at some time but that is most deff not on my list of prioritys haha. Cheers for all your help

    And other questions...
Will a vf8 be too big a turbo?
    Will the SAFC work?

What sorta 1/4 mile times and 0-100 times will I be in the region of?

mate with the budget of a uni student i don't think you should try and do to much to it, run the turbo feed from a tee on the oil pressure, turbo return to the sump, and buy a oil cooler kit. And just use whatever manifold that will work. You can't expect much when you drop a low budget, small time frame, and big expectations in a box.

Yeah I have a bit saved, it's not the money I'm worried bout atm, its just after march all my money goes on uni and what not, so I want it done by then. I already have manifolds, turbo BOV, Intercooler, pipes and SAFC sussed, and around 500 saved for everything else, plus I'm picking up so many hours at work its not funny.

What sort of oil cooler will be good? the 4age ones or RX7? or should I look bigger? So that oil filter adapter wont do for oil feed and return?

any oil cooler will be better than none. But you can't run a turbo oil return back into a sandwich plate at all, the oil coming out of the turbo will be hot as anything not to mention the oil will back up in the turbo and blow the seal. You need to have as little resistance on the turbo drain as possible and as short and as vertical as you can make it the better.

Ok sweet. So I'll go Oil sensor feed> Oil Cooler> Turbo> Drain

no no.. sorry im not being very clear on it

    Turbo:

Oil pressure sender port will be tee'd into then from that the original pressure sender on one side and a line run to the turbo on the other.

The turbo will then drain into the sump

    Oil Cooler:

Sandwich plate>Oil filter relocation plate>oil filter>oil cooler then back to the sandwich plate which will then run back though the engine.

    Hope that is understandable matey.

Oh yeah sweet as. I was just hoping I could get away with less haha. I will probably wait till last for an oil cooler as I don't do lots of hard driving (no track days anyway) and the climate here means I have to wait 30 mins for the oil just to get to temp anyway. My mechanic said that its too cold to realy need one.

Also would it be a good idea to upgrade the fuel pump? Would a Celica turbo one be a plug and play affair?

A turbo Supra fuel pump is plug and play apparently.
