Not really. It will also allow you to tune individual cylinders if there are intake discrepancies. In an OEM application, low emissions.
Thanks,
So it sounds like the only real benefit of sequential injection is to improve idle andhence allows you to have bigger injectors?
IS there any benefit of sequential over and above that?
Cheers,
Simon

ta22 gt,
I had my radiator out today so was able to take some pictures of mine.
The advantage of the 3tgt pulley is that it has four bolts on a pcd making it easy to bolt something on. Mine came with slots making it even easier. practically a straight bolt on of the wheel and a quick sensor mount.
sensor is ford au and cost about $20 second hand
trigger wheel www.diyautotune.com.au 6.5" comes to mind

OK, sounds like full sequential is worth the hassle. I'll call Microtech to confirm the capability of my ECU and then get into it....
Appreciate the help. I've had my TA22 layed up for ages and getting close to doing another rebuild on the 3T GTE after a few years now....
Currently getting 145rwkw and hoping to get closer to the 200rwkw mark. Will see what
happens....
I have another sports car now so my interest in the TA22 has died off a bit, but another rebuild and using some high performance bits should get the motivation happening again.
Cheers,
Simon
Great, thanks for the pics Roger. I'll cehck out the trigger wheels on that site.
What ECU are you using?
Cheers,
Simon
Great to see your interest in the TA22 is being rekindled.
Out of interest, did you end-up selling your interior, seats, etc.?

Yep, I had a stack of TA22 parts in Adelaide and when I sold my house there earlier this year everything sold.
Had some very rare stuff but just too hard to keep moving everything around with me so it had to go.
Still got some bits as spares for my car, just no more new panels etc that I had in storage for so long.....
Cheers,
Simon
Thread revival I know, but I'm just about to purchase bits for the CAS (and possibly the cam sensor). Looking at trigger wheels, is the general consensus to go with the 6.5" wheel and 36-1 toothed?
Got a few sensors in mind still (the gear tooth sensor from element14 looks like a goer)
Also looking for coil packs. A few come to mind which when used in pairs can be used to keep the 8 spark plugs (hyundai elantra, subaru foz/liberty/etc, or 8x LS1 coils). What did you go with?
Pretty excited about setting up sequential injection at some stage
Cheers,
Al

Hot diggidy that's a nice bracket and sensor setupI'm also going a gear position/tooth sensor instead of the VR sensor, purely because it's already running a hall effect in the dizzy at the moment..
