What RWD Toyota has uses a 1310mm wide diff?

Hi all,

I *have* a hilux diff that has been shortened to suit a Mazda 1300.

I am just wanting to confirm if it will suit a RWD Toyota?

I have been told some early Corollas have a 1310mm rear track...is this true? If so, which ones?

1310 is quite narrow, AE86/ae71/ke70/T18 models all have 1410 so a good +50mm on both sides. Even the TA22 celica is narrower but not by that much being 1370mm. Even an LA lancer which is downright narrow as is only 1336mm.

So the only thing I can think of is the KE10 and 20 corollas maybe?

Ke1x and KE2x are 4x110, anything after that is not

yeah should be fine, just have an extra -25 for each of the offsets for the same width and your set, or even less with a wider width.

1310 will work on the back of an RA23/28 Celica.

Just a heads upp : Dont confuse the track width mentioned in the link ( witch depend on the wheels you`re using) with the rear axel width (outside drum surface to outside drum surface)

TA22 drum face - drum face 1365mm

Less OEM wheel offset 27mm each side = 1311mm track....

track is measured from the outside of the tyres though yes?

The easiest way to measure that is to measure from the outside face of one tire to the inside face of the other.
