could be a stuffed injector. 1st id make sure its pulsing. Then maybe get them flowed and checked.
I just put another 22RE into my RA65 celica so I can take my time with a 7AGE build.
I thought it was going to be easy and no issues, but I got this..
I unplug Number 1 lead and it runs the same.. It is getting an orange spark? Which I'm told it should be blue, but number two is the same.. 3 is a little closer to blue..
Compression is the following:
Cylinder 1 , 2 , 3 , 4
Dry, 200, 180, 185, 160
Wet, 210, 190, 190, 170
Any ideas?
Thanks,
marvis.

number four looks to be down on compression, do a leak down test... so i am asuming it is missing as you have not really told us what is the problem.
check the leads for high resistance, dissy cap, rotor button. the fact that it is running the same when you disconnected the lead tells you that cly one is not working.
is there any diffrence when you disconect any other leads?
try disconnecting injectors while running and see what happens.
cheers
Turbo flutter. : Its like a burp and a hiccup at the same time.
If i unplug a lead on the others it stalls. I would assume unplugging the injector on 1 would do nothing?
Will double check injectors today.
to assume is to make an ass out of you and me.
cheers

So I just went to check that the plug from the loom which goes into the injector has a pluse, and it's missing a little metal prong inside it... the other one is geting a pulse.
I got a cut loom here so I will see what i can patch together.
FIXED! YESSSSSSS
I just cut one off from my other loom and put it on....
Thanks for the help guys![]()
