copper gaskets can be a prick to seal some times but once it seals it seals and can become a small mission to get it off again.
mls is a strong easy gasket some have o-rings in the gasket wich seal pressure well and are alot "ALOT" stronger than a standard gasket.
copper is like the big daddy of the bunch (with o-ringed block) most of the big cube high-comp, massive boost and nos drags cars use copper with o-rings.
becuase you have had your block oringed id go the copper atleast give it a go and if you go copper get some sealer called "coppercoat" its from "vht" you spray it all over the gasket to help seal everywere.

Thanks dude...any idea where I could purchase a copper one from? I have been looking on some online stores...but can't find anything.

Do you know if they are much more expensive than a MLS gasket?

ask around at some machine shops or give rockett industries a call.
there about same price as a mls but some brands are a bit more.

Found it.... Ridgecrest Engineering. They specialise in copper hgs.

Give them a search and ring them. I'm pretty sure they make any copper hg to any spec you need. Pretty cheap too.

Not a cometic one. It's a HKS 1.6mm bead type. I got it for just under $180 which i thought was pretty cheap.
