This is a fairly tidy install, and with a simple heat shield/cover over it could look relatively stock (or at least not stand out).

Yeah that part is perfect, it's just the heat exchanger and it fits brilliantly in the front.
I had a PWR water-to-air barrell with a 6" by 10" core but with tanks etc it was MASSIVE. I've since on-sold it and am buying another one but have a plan on how to fit it neatly... we'll see how it gopes anyway. the rest of it is coming along pretty well. Actually you can probably see the exchanger if you look.. blue fitting on the end, top mounting tab just sticking out and black cooling fan on the front. Cooler is same size as fan so maybe about 260-280mm square I guess and only about 25-30mm thick.
...and yes, the pic above is what I mean about wsanting to 'hide' it, that thing looks like balls... on a drag car with a removable front clip I'm sure it's cool but yeah on a street car it's crap. Legal or otherwise it will raise eyebrows and even if not I simply don't like that look.. .I'll never have anything polished in an engine bay of mine.
Must.... avoid.... urge... to... upgrade... parts I haven't.... used.... yet.....

Does the engine bay allow freedom of placement with this new W2A cooler you're getting? That RPW setup above looks like it kind of belongs there, with or without the bling.
I had a similar kind of setup in my old RAV a while back: brand new stock heat exchanger sitting rather snuggly in behind a custom-cut stock front bar (there's just no room for an A2A I/C in front of a stock RAV4 front bar, the W2A option was an only-just fit) and a painted stock W2A on top of the factory Gen3 3S-GTE. There's more pics of that install in the RAV4 "clicky" in my sig, but that was primarily a stock setup.
Yeah that RPW one sits brilliantly. I'd like to do the same on my car, but the amount of crap at that side of the engine makes it impossible. Still, I have a plan so we'll see how that works.
