    Default JZS147 Aristo Cooler Setup

In case anyone has ever wondered (and it hasn't been posted before), this is the factory JZS147 Aristo cooler setup.

The cooler sits in the driver's side front guard. The ducting starts at the bumper and expands to the size of the cooler core.
The piping comes down from the turbo outlet along the driver's side chassis rail, entering the cooler below the chassis rail.
Exiting the cooler, the piping travels in front of the top section of the cooler core, in front of the radiator, coming down to the pipe that travels under the bottom of the radiator support and finally into the throttle body.
All piping is a nominal 2.5" in diameter, except the last section of hose that expands to meet the 3" throttle body inlet.

....and to fit a new FMIC, just chop up the big long pipe in sections to match the bends needed. Then all you need is some silicon joiners, mounting brackets and a cooler

I wonder how many PSI i can get through it before it explodes

The stock cooler is actually a good bit of gear, the problem is getting enough airflow through it. This is why my original cooler was constructed out of two of those, and it actually worked very well!

    hell yes!

Why you would only want 10KW extra I have no idea....

Throw on an exhaust, cold air intake and you should get an extra 10RWKW easily.
Get a ebay cooler for about $150 and throw that on and you might see another 5-10RWKW again... depending on its quality.

I dont see any problem for a stockish Aristo pulling 190RWKW on a dyno.

Mine (2JZ in cressida) picked up 37rwkw going from pipe behind the rad to a hybrid style cooler.
