Wastegate Selection Help

Ok finally decided to something about my ebay external 60mm wastegate, and it doesn't want to play nice by sticking from time to time.
My mate has a Tial 44mm wastgate he will give to for free, was wondering if it would be too small for my application??
Currently running a T04z on my 2jz, currently making about 380+kw on 25psi and my low boost is set at 14psi.
I have asked different places and keep getting a different answers, and also been told it will hinder power as the gases can't escape as quick.

If your low boost setting is 14psi a tial 44mm should be fine, if its free its worth a shot and will probably flow more than your 60mm ebay gate anyway.
The wastegates job is to let excess boost escape so it will flow the most at a lower boost setting but i dont think a 44 will be too small.
I am running pretty much the same setup as you and have a 48mm turbosmart gate and have been told by the tuner that it will be overkill unless i want to run under 10psi.
