For Sydneysiders you can check the WSID website ( www.wsid.com.au ) to see if it has been cancelled or not, I was advised that a decision is usually made by @3pm Wed and posted on the website just after that.

I know it's an Adub, but you shouldn't be rooting it

    sorry, couldn't resist.

May be there if Rona decides to turn up. I just imagine the commentators trying to figure out what car with 2 of them on the line

Especially with your yellow light (do the scruitineers have an issue with it or do you take it off?)

And the more, the merrier! The rain looks to have held off so far, with a good amount of sunshine to dry the track off. Fingers crossed for no late showers and a similar day tomorrow.

Just weld it up or use that metal putty so it doesnt leak for the drags and replace the sump after.

It will handle the speed (well it has in the past), but a sudden stop would probably make it come off (only magnetic). It's only 2 minutes to remove the roof racks anyway, it's just that I normally can't be bothered as then I've got to find somewhere to store them so they don't get broken.

It'd be an interesting match. His has shorter gearing & an exhaust (though I bet its cat-back which would do SFA IMHO), but mine has less rotational mass (lighter wheels) & softer suspension (so more weight transfer onto rear wheels).

Have you weighed my wheels to do a comparison. The stich wheels I had for my supra were hardly heavy

I won't be in attendance though as advised in the PM. Checked out the zorst yesterday which runs only a single muffler (cannon) and looks to still be the factory/compliance cat. Appears to be about 2.5inch in size and is pretty much dead straight.

TBH I couldn't give a rats if I was beaten in a straight line anyway. As the advantages of having suspension & decent tyres for cornering is much higher on my priority list.

Bah. I've left my run too late on getting my wheel buckle fixed, it won't be done in time. So probably best I don't still run on a buckled wheel, i'm out

No, but I've weighed mine, which have less metal & are forged & with tyres were the same weight as the stock 15s.

Got no idea of stock size, but got an extra muffler (maybe its the cat) somewhere under middle
