Personally, Motovation doesn't overly excite me - I go once every 7-8 years, and thats enough for me - walking around the bogans will do that to a guy though! I will also admit that it is possible to change, but it will be a long hard road unless you all group together to change the nature of the show.

I wish you all the best, who knows - I may even toddle down there this year (it must have been at least 7 years since I last went to a Motorvation?!), but I'll be keeping my cars (V8's and rice burners alike) in the shed for this show.

My intention was more that you speak to other car owners/small clubs who fit under your banner of "Old School Toys" or some compromise, which would enable you to put a proposal together offering a greater selection of cars/drawcards and patronage. Sit down and think about what you want to achieve if forming a collaboration, and put a plan in place that relies on more than just an internet thread to determine it's feasability and success. Finally remember, Motorvation is a "local production V8/Muscle car/bogan car show, and presenting Japanese cars will always prove an uphill battle.

As mentioned above, I don't personally have a great ambition to show any of my cars at Motorvation. That said if someone at TECCWA wants to take it as a project, I will also support them 100%, ..., who knows, I may even wheel a car or two out also?!

    Update,

the VA61 is running like a champ, everything is working well.... now revving to 7k.
Power output is kinda feeble though... really need to get some boost control action, is heaps for massif skids though

    Pumped for next weekend!

I might be in in the coming years, perhaps having a supercharged V8 in our group will help
