Steve you should have heard by now. I would give them a ring and find out. I am hoping they have not misplaced your application.
It will be the same this year as in previous years, 600 commo's and fords, a few wrx's and not much else.I would reckon you would be wasting your time trying to get a substitute car in as they will just give the spot to another ford or holden as they did last year.
I am sure its run by flannelette shirted, mullet haired, dessert booted rednecks.
    Cheers Dave

Yeah, if they got your application Steve, I'd be surprised if they didn't accept it. Give them a ring.

I know what you mean Dave, but their form says you can substitute, so I'm going to try push it this time. Still, they are a bit of a law to themselves sometimes.

    hey gene,
i'm keen on your spot if no one else wants it.
i have all next week to get it finished and i'm borrowing some tyres from a mate so should be all good to go.
i already booked the week before ad 2 days after motorvation off work so i'll have plenty of time to iron out any bugs and have it run in

hey guys.. you can call and try and do the old switcharoo for a place at MV2010... But I think 2009 when we tried to do that, they said they cant guarantee it, will only give the spot to the next person in line.
Which I think that sucks when we are trying to encourage a bit of variety!
22 WRX with the same mods is hardly a car club with variety!!

hey guys my entry acceptance letter showed up, but im gonna be pushing it to have her ready. whole front end is in peices still from ps conversion, im gonna give it a shot tho, booked in to have the dumps modified on the 11th, and just found out that ae86 ps knuckles dont fit with my r33 discs, the offset on the ball joint hole makes the disc hit the LCA. FAIL!
willl look into just using the standard NON ps knuckles atm.

OK, here's the go. I need to email Motorvation with my name and entrant number, as well as the other person's who entered but was rejected. So far, I believe Beatle (Mike?) is the only person who entered and was rejected and wants to swap.

Beatle, can you send me your name details and entrant number so I can fire off an email before the 31st (the sooner the better)?

Basically, they will review the entrants and decide whether they'll permit the swap. Otherwise, I'll just be withdrawing, and getting a refund (minus $25 Admin fee).

If there was anyone else who wanted to try the swap, let me know too, just in case that helps.

As per usual, and expected, MV rejected my application to swap with Mike. So, I'll just be getting a refund without being able to swap.

Yeah, I think so. I'm supposed to get a Buddy pass (having paid for one), unless they refund that too. We'll see.

Not sure how many, sounds like 4ish?

we have 8 cars in. 4 supra's, an aristo and a couple of hypo nissan's. we had 1 guy rejected and the usual bunch of lazy mofo's that never entered in the first place haha.

the non supra guys are all our mates and we have no problem letting them enter with us. a few people have made comments about it but they can lick my balls.
