good find, i have a feeling though the rings for the 1gge might be different. The rings are different for the 1ggze and the 1ggte so im thinking the 1gge could be different as it runs higher compression. I will get mine measured soon enough to find out

have spoken to a couple of guys that have rebuilt the 1ggte, they have sucessfully run 4k pistons and rings, majority of the compression is based on piston crown and cylinder head cc design rings only play a really small part. can always file the gap open in them anyways if need be

Since the 1G pistons have valve releifs cut into them, I'd guess 4K pistons would either interfere, or not interfere and leave a low comp.

Does anyone know what comes in the genuine toyota gasket kit for the 1g. ie. does it come with all the crank seal and cam seals ect. Also does the valve stem seals come with it? Iv read somewhere that 4age valve stem seals fit the 1ggte can anyone confirm this?
    Cheers

HI, I'm interested in this also, I'm fairly sure the 'interchangable oddities' thread had something long ago about the 4AGE stem seals. Need some for my 1GGZE.
