    Default 4a generation Air Flow Meters

    Hey guys my 4AGZE AFM has shit itself and its seeming to be very hard to find a replacement. I would like to know if any 4a versions have the same AFM as the 4AGZE with plug to suit.. 20v bigport adm etc
    Or if there is any other AFM from other toyotas that will fit and work with boost.

    cheers

    still an ST162, dude. i put an ST162 afm on exactly the same motor; same dimensions, same plug, and it started first hit.

    wiso should be credited;

    he says there is a difference in piping size in his posts, but i found that the dimensions of the ST162 afm body and the 4AGZE afm body were identical. remove one, fit the other, no modifications needed.

    Are you blowing through the AFM? Why would boost make a difference? An SC'd 1.6L sucks from atmosphere through an AFM just like an NA, just more.
