If I tag the cutout in 2nd it's 116kph. I don't think I've hit the limiter since I got the change beeper on the eBoost2 setup though.

guys, my 1G is acting pooey , more pooey than normal , i dont wanna get a loan and do 1JZ before i go i want to maintain the 1G for the rest of the year,
couple o questions coming up
1: How should i check my turbos to see if they are fine, Yes i know how to take them off , but what should i look for in terms of wear (pls be specific if u can)
2: Should i take the 1G to a mechanic to see if everything under the rocker is fine ?
3: Waterpump wasnt/isnt an issue all throughout summer driving hard in 40+ weather but should i check it out anyway for safteys sake ?
4: Crank ? i know i need to replace the warped guard/warped harmonic balancer but how do i know the crank is lookin fine ?
5: What else can i do in the months leading up to the big trip to ensure maximum assureance that i will NOT break down on the nullabour
p.s. im not getting cold feet, im like to prepare (and who doesnt)

check shaft play on the turbos john, pull the intake pipes off and move the shaft up and down and in and out...that will tell you how bad they are

whats the chances of the turbs having shaft play at almost 200,000kms without 1 rebuild / proper mechanical service?![]()
