Bloody tops, I just put in for time off work for Toyotafest last night, then found this thread this morning.
I'm in for sure!!!

I was planning on getting there via Melbourne & the Great Ocean rd, as 2 x 1000km trips might be a bit easier than 1x 1500+km trip, so I would up for this if enough other people were, otherwise heading straight there would be alot easier with a bunch of Toymodders.
So hurry up & get your acts together, add me too the list, & I'll put the pressure on my brother to come along & bring either my Cressida or his, if it's been 2jz-ified.

well guys, im proud to annoucnce that ive started up an award saver account with the commonwealth bank yesterday !

$200 per fortnight is coming out of my account and into the award saver.

Best thing about it, i cant access it with my ATM card nor can i access it via Netbank.
so by September/Oct i should have just over $1.2k for the trip

also, Lets not forget about TAX RETURNS!!!!!!

now , must find a way to make $300 in the mean time and get that autobox installed so i can drive out of W.A. without my gearbox falling out.

You should do what I did and get an ING account instead. Better interest rate and they don't ream you if you take money out of it

guys , can i have an exact , and if not exact a pretty DAMN good estimate of when we will be leaving WA for the 2 weeks ? coz my mate brian and i will both need to ask for leave in the next week or 2 for the trip.

Im assuming the last week of Sep is when it will be but, if ya can , Nathan or Andrew give me a pretty close estimate on dates i need work off , that would be awesome

Nathan i lack the tools and know how to do it myself.

What i COULD do , is setup a saturday to come to your house and do it , that is , if it will take only a day , and that is , if you know how to do it nathan.
