Hell, a crusie through King Cross wouldn't go astray either?!
Clint, fear not, my expertise of Sydney roads peaked just as I moved to Adelaide, I think I can guide our convoy through the land of ill repute. I'm not so sure I'd be up for a detour of the Cross after driving all day & with a fully loaded car.
We'll have other nights to indulge ourselves on a cruise through that part of town, plus an empty seat or three always comes in handy around that way.

Yeah, we'll have to stay in Adelaide for the night, at the moment, think about what Clint recommended, and i'm going to try and lose a day or two. Once before we get to Adelaide, and perhaps one between Melbourne and Sydney,

I can probably put one person up in adelaide. Not sure at the moment cos we have a hot young spanish exchange student staying with us for a couple of months and im not sure when she is leaving, and im not sure when my bro is coming back from Canberra.

or if that rooms being used and ya dont mind we can just set up a matress somewhere. either way should be all good. so yeah, also we are located 10 minutes out of town so its a nice central place.

    HI,

Watch out for UFOs and aliens. The area between Kalgoolie and Mt Gambier is one of the hottest UFO spots on the planet.

guys, after reading a few threads about things that happen in VIC and NSW, im getting a little worried, what happens if we are on our way and someone gets pulled over for something stupid like a "loud exhaust" and gets yellowed ???

AFAIK they have no powers to defect a car outside their own state.
They will be able to fine YOU, but not your car.

Someone in the know might be able to clarify this.

But the simple solution is to ditch the cannon.

if you get defected interstate (which is very very veeeeery unlikely I might add) you simply peel the sticker off when you leave the state as the NSW and VIC cops have the authority to issue stickers to you but not put them in your rego system

Whats legal in one state may not be in another state. (although onces the NCOP's are enforced it will be Aust wide)
