Dont know if you can cross breed engines as iv only had a quick read. But what about a 7ag (7afe bottom end and 4age head= 1.8l twin cam)with a set of side drafts?

You'll still be torque-deficient, 7As only put out about 150Nm (compared to a 4AGE's 130-140Nm), so it still pales to a decent 2.0L.

I think the way to make a weapon is to try graft a carby manifold onto a 4SGE.
Or maybe put 3SFC head on GE.

That should be able to kick the seca's arse.

3S-FC/FE & 5S-FE Head gasket are the same. 3S-GE is different...

TA22 Celica gearboxes will not suit an A motor application.

Early T18 (TE72) has same output spline as TA22.
Late TE72 has same output spline as AE86.

IIRC the input shaft spline is also different on early TE72 / all TA22

Any regs against wedging an F series under it? As I recall 3.7s were everywhere for those...
