Hi, I've have a 93 AE92 SECA with a 4A injected engine which had cracked the head. Is it possible to put a 1990 AE92 Hatch 4A non injected engine in the seca and just swap the manifolds over from the intected engine to the non injected engine?
Thanks..
No. If I'm not mistaken, the 4AFE (ie the injected one) in an AE9x has the injectors mounted in the head itself, not the manifold, thus you can't use a carby head and just bolt up an injected manifold. Either track down another early 4AFE head, or a late 4AFE head and manifold + injectors (may or may not work, don't quote me)
