I need a tow car... The Cressida isn't up to it at the moment (blown coilover shock). The trailer is up to it tho if i can find a decent car with a towball. I'd suggest Dad's Forester but it couldn't pull a sailor of your sister.

Re: picnic at hanging rock 8th feb 2009
				good point eddie
meet at 7.30 at calder
then at sth rock rd by 8.30
turn off at the lancefield /woodend road exit then go up to sth rock rd and we can re group there , thats the one that takes us to the main entry
i must stress
if you want to come and be part of this
get there early or you will miss out
there is a cut off point this year
and i am guessing that we will get the same excuses again for being late
like my dog ate the alarm clock ,or i was interrogated by ASIO , still pissed etc etc
we will try and spread ourselves out a bit , then move up as the late comers arrive
we have to go in as a group, or we get sent all over the joint
also we need an indication of how many are going

Re: picnic at hanging rock 8th feb 2009
				sorry guys
as this will be my 1st ever car show.
is it open for public?
meaning if i'm going a bit later in the morning with my gf and her family will we be able to get in?
or is it for people who have cars on show?
sorry all but just need clarification as i really want to see this event.

Re: picnic at hanging rock 8th feb 2009
				its for the public
i think its about $5.00entry
a.,great way to see it all is to park outside the event and ride a bike around ,as it takes all day to look at the cars if you walk
you will be blown away when you see how many cars are there

				Thanks Ian
will keep it in mind about the bikes lol.
I think the main ones we are going to see are the old Monaros as my gf's dad was a member for a lot of years.
and mainly the Toyotas.
Will check out all the others of course and see if i can take a lot of pics.
Can't wait for this event and to meet you all there.
