nostalgia is not what it used to be:
Hi guys spoke to Jack Hewett of Fast Fours and rotaries today. He did the article on the Toymods run last issue. Wants us to take heaps of photos and send them on to him for a future issue. Anybody got a good digital camera we could get some photos with,
Cheers Paul.

I met a guy at calder drags last saturday, He's a photographer who takes photos for car magazines, his name is Walter Mild from memory. He drives a pretty mint ta22; i told him about the classic celica club and he's going to join. Also told him about hanging rock and he said he will come down and take some photos.
He also said if anyone wants some photos done of their car for magazines to let him know for anyone interested.

Hey guys,
We should open this up to the guys from other states to attend! I'm sure we could find beds/floor space for them on the saturday night. We could have a dinner too.

Looking forward to this event.
I noticed in this thread it was mentioned "all welcome". My understanding is that this event is for veteran, vintage, classic and special interest vehicles. I realise 'special interest' is open to some interpretation, but I'm not sure an MX83, ST184 or an Echo would be acceptable for display, unless they are seriously customised.
I'm trying to decide if I should take my MA40, but I'm not convinced it meets any of the 4 categories.
Up to 5-6years ago I was driving a RA28 to this event and leaving it in the public parking area each time. I guess now the first gen. Celicas are passable for display. But a later model that's relatively standard? I'm not so sure.
Doesn't matter what you've got, bring it along. Some people bring their normal WRXs, Commonwhores, etc. and show them. Anything is acceptable if you pay the entry !
