    Timbo,

There's no indication that the host club would suddenly limit the show to a few yank or Aussie models. BUT, the show is predominantly for veteran, vintage and classic (25+ years) vehicles. There's also the 'special interest' category. (This could be something for the racing Levin, perhaps?)

I've been warned that I may need to confirm year of manufacture of my '79 model because it looks to many like an average mainstream early 80's car (which makes it borderline 'classic'). I dunno about the MX83 that's been mentioned in this thread; perhaps if it's customised it could be a candidate for 'special interest'.

In regards to fire danger on the day, I believe the grass is to be cut short in the coming few days and the ground well-watered. CFA will be in attendance as usual.

Fingers-crossed for moderate weather on the day.

it is not a stocker but nothing wild.
built 7m freshly on LPG, 5 speed, subtle kit, lowered, bit of interior work etc. simon has seen it a few times what do u think? its not really "special interest"

Ian, spoke to my brother. He would gladly drive the club car if no one else wanted to. We can talk about it on Thursday though...

...are we gonna do what we did last year and have a meet up at 6.30a.m at Doncaster Shoppo?......as there is a stack of guys round this area or from down south just an idea for a initial rendezvous prior to Calder....either way if I am going I will swing past at that time just to see if any others are there

Yeah i'll meet up again there. The carpark we met at last time was the one out the front of TGI Fridays, opposite BWS (beer wine spirits). Havnt been there in a while tho since the upgrade but i believe the carparks still there.

then north from there i guess onto the ring road?

i may meet you guys on the ring road entrance, or even at calder park.

(ausrotary are meeting there a bit earlier, and i wouldn't mind a bit of a gander.)
