1jz Timing belt tensioners

Hey guys

A mechanic looked at my engine today after i did the timing belt.

He said its too tight and wont last 10 000kms. As far as i can see the tensioners arn't adjustable? you just bolt em in right?

yep, tensioner is hydraulic.

Time to find a new 'mechanic' ?
