Timing belt part number & Toyota can not find it. Help please.

I have a Toyota branded timing belt on my 7MGTE Supra with the part number 13568-744EO
It is slightly shorter (one rib) compared to the standard timing belt part number 13568-49015

I am not able to use the standard timing belt due to extensive head modifications and I need to replace it, Toyota isn’t able to locate the part number and I was hoping someone might have some knowledge on this.

Won't get one from toyota if it is not a toyota part.

You will have to go to a generic parts supplier who most likely will have a Dayco or Gates part listing and cross refernce charts, they shoul dbe able to help.

When getting a custom tooth belt make sure you get hte right profile as well as the right length and width,there are several different tooth profiles.

It is a Toyota timing belt that is my problem

I have had no luck trying to get something aftermarket to fit.

Dan just told me you've tried the Jap EPC, I have the rest of it at home and could fire it up and do a search for you, unless someone else has it already running and wants to do it. I guess the belt could be from US or European market?

Start counting teeth, then get it matched at your friendly decent parts dealer.

No go with the Jap EPC.

I have someone hunting for aftermarket belts at the moment but would prefer to use the Toyota branded belt again.

The one on the car is still OK, no cracks and is fine for now but I am going to have to change it eventually.

I also have a blue Greddy belt that I couldn’t use.

Can you modify tensioner travel or idler position/diameter a little to make standard belt fit?
If only 1 tooth is making the difference between being able to tension and not being able to tension as you say in first post it must be fairly close and will make getting belts much easier in future.

whats the length of a 2jz one like? or nissans, or any other motor? Does it say the length on the timing belt? if not, measure it to see something that might go close, with enough movement for you to be able to adjust its tension. this is how i got all my belts on my 302 to fit, as nothing is stock on it!

This was from searching for MA70's
Perhaps the 42010 or 42011 belt is a little longer.

Call Toyota Castle Hill (NSW)... they are the JDM and rare parts gods of the Toyota world.
I have been able to get many a part from them that other Toyota dealerships swear blind don't exist or are out of production / unavailable!

If Toyota Castle Hill can get it but you can't get it down there just send me a PM and I'm sure we can sort something out to get it posted to you... I live just around the corner from CHT so grabbing parts is no major drama.
