    Still have not removed the fault, although the cars runs perfect now without fixing the fault - i have a spare ecu so i may try the random Resistance / earth/ volatge application to see if i can remove it.

    Looks like she'll be all engineered before christmas...........

    If the car runs fine, I would leave it at this point, if the code dissasembly goes well we will be able to work out what needs to clear any fault without the trail & error method or if indeed there is a fall back map.

    Also I have a couple of ECU, if you wanted to try these out & I can find out if they work ?

    If you're not using a water/air computer, just dig up a Gen2 ECU. They're pin compatible, but won't throw a code
