Just a 1.5psi regulator between the pump and the carbies will be fine, no return needed.
I am in the process of putting my 2tg in my celica, i have a pair of 45mm webers and am wondering what the best way is to set up my fuel line. Ihave spoken to a few people and have gotten mixed answers.
Basically i want to know how i should set it up with a pressure regulator?
fuel pump - carbies- pressure reg- return line to tank?
fuel pump- reg with a fuel return- carbies
^to tank
what are peoples opinions?
Thanks, Josh

1.5psi? well joey on here is running a very similar setup to mine and he recommends between 2-3psi?
well here is the fuel pump that i have in my car at the moment, i disconnected it as i was running the standard mech pump. previous owner must have installed it so i have no idea what it is, only markings on it are 'Fuel Flo'.
Actually i just googled it and came up with this-

it looks practically identical, internal regulator, sounds the goods. So do i not need a regulator at all?
Thanks, Josh

i had a "4 cyl" fuel flo pump on my single weber...
it is either internally regulated.. or just not able to make the pressure
shouldn't need a reg.

Anywhere is the range of minimum 1.5 up to max 3psi is what you should be aiming for with these type of carbies. If it is indeed that pump which you posted then you wont need a regulator, if your not sure tho try and borrow one of the small fuel pressure gauges and just hook it up inline with the fuel line before the carbies and see what it reads.

This is what i've always been told. Although i run my reg at 3psi because being a cheapy it restricts the flow too much below this and will lean out under some conditions.Originally Posted by Billzilla
on my 3t and my bros L18 rally motor were just runing elec pump pumps that only pump 4psi pressure max with no return, never had any troubles and its cheap and easy to do.
