1UZ physical dimensions & autobox question

Hi all, i've searched but couldn't find an answer.. Please point me in the direction if this already exists.

Does anyone have the actual physical dimensions of a 1uz, height and width and length with an auto box hanging off it? Or length of just engine.

Also, with the auto gearbox does that need linkages to the stick, or is it electric?

you're looking around 640mm wide (outermost part of heads) by 600 long (rear of block to front of crank)

From memory mine was like a cube as far as measurement roughly went, 700 x 700 x 700mm, for just the engine .. Auto is linkages ... The one great thing about the Auto is it is quite small in diamemter .. Fitted my Mazda tranny tunnel with ease ..

It may find it's way into a Toyota Coaster.

Currently a 22re sits there..

Bugger about the linkages for the auto though. Was hoping there was some electronic shift boxes around as the stick is a long way from the box in the bus.

the linkages can be replaced by morse cables
they are quite strong and work well
we used them in the jet sprint boats they never failed
