I used MA70 peddels which I assume are the same and had no problems fitting it all up..

Only things I had to do was drill the two holes threw the firewall for mounting and then cut a bit off the mounting plate so that it would sit flush against the firewall (as you mentioned the trans tunnel fowles with the backing plate a bit so if you cut the top left corner a bit it all sits flush).. No spacers or washers and it all bolted up fine.. The peddels also lined up pretty well..

I fail to see how this can be called bolt up....

Looks pretty much bolt up to me too

Seriously not hard overall. Sweet pain in the arse that 99% of people reckoned it was "bolt up"

Whats it out of? if its a70 does it use the factory firewall holes or do you need to add one as the angle looks wrong and it doesn't seem to line up with the top right (looking into the engine bay) hole.

the JZX90 stuff bolts up to the firewall no problems and no pedal mods etc but the 1 bolt hole to the dash needs modding.

    A70, redrilled holes.

Its all working now, but this was because ive had a bunch of people PM me and say "oh, i hear the A70 unit bolts up to the cressy".

Works, yes, works well, yes. Bolt up, my arse.

You can cut down an Auto pedal to be the right size, but I think this is a rather dodgy way to do it.
I got an A70 pedal, removed it from the A70 pedal box, and put it in the Cressida pedal box.

It fitted perfectly, with the right edge (Closest to the accel pedal) sitting in the same position as the Auto pedal, but obviously, its only 5cm wide, as opposed to 10cm. (Measurements are a rough guide)

ok im half way through fiting ma70 pedals now! it is definately not bolt in! i didnt have the issue of the pushrod length because i cut and welded the pedal below the pushrod hole, thus taking the curve out of the pedal so i get full travel before it hits the firewall. seems to have worked well!
in addition to this i had to drill the two holes for the master, cut the corner off the bracket to clear trans tunnel and extend tag on bracket for the top bolt to fit correctly.
on a different subject tho interestingly enough i had trouble finding a slave to suit r154 so i racked my brain to remember what it was that i had seen similar. so i ordered an e30 bmw slave, it needs a longer pushrod and one hole drilled but otherwise looks the goods, the only thing i dont know yet but will confirm later is the sizing in relation to the master. looks a tad biger but im hoping it will work. only cost 45 bux too!!

    cheers tim
