See it is the end of point 3 that has me worried.
I don't see it, he has had a bit of a whinge about their awesomeness on the street, why does he think they will be more fun on the track?
I guess at the very least you can say you improved throughout the day

and if you were the one that got hit because his tires wouldn't provide grip who would be at fault? and who would pay for the repairs on either car?Originally Posted by Draven
seriously if someone took there car to a racetrack knowing full well that they have a defective mechanical component (from a grip/braking/sterring perspective) i would classify it as complete stupidity.

This means i have to run a 3:7 or shorter. I guess i'll have to or it's $1K in parts down the toilet.
One less job to do for WP i guess as no way the diff will be done before then![]()

Last night I got 15 minutes work done on the car, I drilled two holes and killed a red back.
I planned for a couple of hours on the rig but work stole that when they kept me back a couple of hours![]()
Shame about the spool Justen, would have been nice to have it all sorted once and for all.

If i can get a 3.7:1 crownwheel and pinion asap (like tomorrow) there's still faint hope?
She's a totally different beast to drive with that ratio though so it will be interesting to see which way the lap times go?
So, anyone got a 3.7 for me? either buy outright or grab now to replace?

Ill put money on alot slower in the morning but 1.07s in the arvo, unless its wet..
Get it done!
Couldn't find a 3.7 but have sourced a new 3.5:1....will cost me my left testicle but i guess that's the price i'll have to pay
Diff will be ready tomoz or Fri so i may be back in the game![]()

I didn't think you needed testicles once you hit 40 anyway![]()

Apparently prosthetic ones are pretty good these days so i'll have the chance to even them up nowOriginally Posted by YLD-16L

Made some more progress (regress) last night, what a fkn nightmare it is to replace hard brake lines while the engine and gear box are in place. Barely enough room to fit the line in let alone bend it all into the correct shape.
Thinking braided might be a truckload easier to run....
