    You're just a C@nt

BTW were those timer guys any good to deal with? I emailed them last week RE the mini-timer and no reply.

There are some on Ebay from an Aus supplier for $195...no idea if this is a decent price or not though?

The way the $ has gone I think that is a good price. I never saw them cheaper than that and even back when our $ was strong they were no better priced on ebay US than you could pick one up locally for.

Pity there is nothing on the market that is like the mini-lap to compare with for price.

I knew something wasn't feeling right. I'd lost a week in there somehow

Garth, I'm definitely in with the Caldina then.
It got dropped off at the panel beater this arvo, getting assessed on Wednesday after partial disassembly of the front end (shouldn't be too hard, it's mostly held on with tape), then the spare bonnet can be fitted Thursday/Friday (along with refitting the bumper) & then it'll be all sweet.

It's going to be a big before test for me as i'm going to start with the import spec tyres (watch out for me in the braking areas & round the fish hook I reckon, should be entertaining...), but bringing along some stickier rubber too just to see what the diff with be. Anyone got access to seasickness pills
Still gotta be better than the Bogandore I'm driving again tho

Meh, half of them are already smashed. At least removal of the left headlight for air intake will be easy.

A friend of mine just spent $5k fixing the left side of his STi after running on at the end of the main straight. I'm not aiming to follow suit.

no-one aims to hit the wall... but on importer spec tyres, it may as well be raining.... if you can7t stop in time on a public road.. what chance is there at racetrack?

then again, maybe it will be fun going dorifto spec with the 4wd

My accident happened due to a lack of not hitting the brake pedal early enough. I could've had heated slicks on a hot tarmac surface that day & still hit the Merc.

Off the end of Wakefield? Bad luck for him, since there's miles of nothing in that area (I should know, in the wet I spend most of my time there)

    This makes no sense.

If you have stickier rubber why not just use it from the start?

If the import spec tyres are as bad as you say they are i honestly don't know why you would even both with them at the track.
