disaster prepping the car today. my wheel spacers came in. but i couldnt find bolts with a shallow enough head to not foul the wheels. and i couldnt find nuts slim enough to fit in the holes in my rims! i spent 3 hours grinding the heads of bolts down so i can get them on...off to search for some nuts that will suite tomorrow

DV, sounds like the "air pockets" on the wheels are not big enough can you grind back the wheels.

Do you really need to run the spacers ??????????

Please make sure of the following:
* Helmet
* Full length clothing
* Closed shoes
* Drivers License (RTA license - not sure if they will be checked, just make sure you have them)

If there are any changes to car/s and or drivers/extra drivers, please let me know today - i will be sending off the final list to the track this afternoon and i want it to be correct so we dont have any issues

The lunch supplied by the organisers is one per car, so if the extra drivers want to be in on the sandwiches and fruit there is an extra cost - again let me know if they want to be added

Munchies and drinks supplied by me are for everyone in our group

just keep in mind also that when booking the day, i was advised there is not meant to be any "official" or non official timing on the day

hey mate my rims are multifits so they have no air pockets..aaaand yes i need to run the spacers..the rims are totally the wrong offset and sit a long way in. i could notice how skittish and unsettled the car was the moment i pulled out of the car park with the new rims on. they will be on later today tho

Aaargh! I assumed there was going to be official timing. Oh well, bit late to organise to borrow someone's nokia+gps too.

How are the groups going to be split up, not by lap times i guess then? Are we just going to be divided up at briefing or pick which group we want? It's 3x 20 right, but they're not grouping similar paced cars together?

30+ deg... at least with 20 min sessions i'll be forced to come in and not run the car too long in the heat... Make sure you buy plenty of water for us all messy!
