well ive now got the hydraulic handbrake sorted properly, and have thrown another alternator on there, and it seems to be working fine.....

so im hoping i should be able to crack the celicas 200k virginity

blake if you still running the alt that was on the motor when i sold it to you from memery it wasnt a 1g one !!!! ive got a 1g and a 1j one spare if you need they , o and p.s its only gonna be the body of the car braking the 200k virginity motors been there pleanty of times befor , lol

Your kidding right? with my 85rwkw im predicting 2:16s out of the old girl, about 1min of that would be spent on the straight trying to get to 130kph.

EC is just like a big rollercoaster, 1 lap and you'll be loving it.

interesting well the 2nd hand 1g alt i just threw on has seemd to fix the problem, so long as this fubared gbox holds up to the day it should be all good!

C'mon, i do 2:04s with 85kW, on street tyres - you should get well under 2:00 on slicks. Turn 12 exit is 100-110 so the 130 is up before you're down the hill; it's the 130-160 that takes the time.

I'm itching now too - was out there yesterday arvo watching the tasman revival and just looking at a few ripple strips i was getting half a bar. If you haven't been there before you'll shit tacks your first couple of laps as it undulates a lot, there's a few blind crests/corners...

I love the place, so different to wakefield, it flows so well.

Ive busted out a few track days on bikes out there, maybe 4 to date but never in a car other than the powercruise and thats far from high speed! So i do know the track but having said that i know my track record when it comes to steering... Not too good! Meh im sure ill have a blast!

For the record i do hope to see something near a 2min lap +/- 1min
