have you considered altering the setup a bit so more of the belt wraps around the alternator pulley ? it would probably cure the slipping.
so much stuff. so little time.

yeah, exactly what I did, bypassed tensioner using shorter belt and pivoted alternator thru top bolt, and made a custom bottom mount adapter.

Moved the luxy last weekend & p/steer fluid went everywhere. So fitted up a EL falcon transmission cooler up on the non pressure side & hopefully this fixes this little problem????

Exhaust system all done, twin 2.5" then into a single straight threw muffler then dumped justn over the diff. Not too loud to cause any problems but enough to give it a nice note at revs....

do you have any audio of the zorst mate? i plan on having 2inch -2.25 max out of the crown logs then onto a 2.5 single over the diff to keep some of the torque that these small V8s lack down low, madmont was telling me he reduced his exh down to 2inch from 2.25out of the headers cause 2.25 was to big and it lacked some torque,it'l be interesting to see how yours goes compared, any pics of how the pipes were run and where the cats are if any, where did you end up mounting your ecu?

Front mounted sump engine from a LS400/Celsior. I got a new LN111 hilux radiator off litldv8 here on toymods modifidied both inlet/outlet elbows on rad & got a pipe mandrel bent to adapt to lower rad elbow. The exhaust I've seen guys with twin 3"systems pretty loud but still went well. Myself I'm not after performance hence why its all standard wiring/ECU auto & in a luxy.... The exhaust like i said before has a nice note at idle & under a few revs but nothing that is going to give me alot of trouble with police. The headers I've cut down firstly to fit inside upper control arms, basically a log manifold & secondly my brothers best mate does performance extractors exhaust systems & just for a custom extractors made up & HPC coated he charges $1500 - $2000 thats tuned length extractors & really didn't want to spend that much on the exhaust...The ECU is mounted on the passager side on the bottom of the firewall. 'I've just got to make up cover for it & then put the carpet back over it... I'll try my best this weekend to get some pics of her so far....
