I guess we dont need to worry about nominating Mike.

I have just sent them an email to cancel my entry, and Dave, I strongly recommended you and your car as a replacement.
Hopefully they will contact either me or you if this entrant swap takes place.

    cheers

ps. Anyone had any luck supplying the shade for the event?... Hate for you guys to get toasted during the weekend
Yeah Damo, I sent an email to cancel my entry and Stephenie Mouna confirmed she will withdraw my car (24/12/08).

I hope the net result of all this is that we get some more cars in. Hate to see more of us drop out and nobody allowed in to take their place :-(

I have not been in contact wiyh them but Damo has as he is the coordinator for the ost group.
I have no reference number from my entry but damo gave them as much info as he could including my name and rego so all they should have to do is sort thru the ost entries.
I still dont think they are that interested in our club entries.
But I will or should know by the end of the week. they may contact me or damo, WHO KNOWS ?

Sorry guys, I have been MIA for a while with a lack of internet access.
I recieved confirmation of my entry cancellation from Stephanie, same as rudy.
    this is her email:

    Hello Damien,

I will withdraw your entry for you.

With regards to Dave’s car, does he have any updated photo that he could send us if he has done extra work to the vehicle?

If he could forward us some updated photos I can have the Motorvation committee review his entry……

    Regards,

    Stephenie Mouna: Event Administrator

She said she will have the selection commitee reassess Dave's entry if he is able to resend some recent pictures - I told her that you had done some more work to the car recently?! Dont you have twin carbs and mag wheels now Dave?..

Anyway - if you wanna try your luck again - email [email protected]
with some extra pictures of the car and just say you wanna take my place and represent Old Skool Toys at the show.

Let us know how you go.

ahh, sorry Dave - I thought you had those wheels from Steve already
yeah, get them on the car and some more clear shots and hopefully they will let you in if we hassle them enough.

I think the just want the engine, outside and interior shots again.

Maybe include a list of mods you have done to the car - cos they probably have no idea what they are looking at if its not a V8 motor

Pitty I don't still have my old Garrett T3 to "bolt-up" to it Dave ;-)

The rest of my "bling" 22 gear won't fit your 28, so there's probably nothing more I can help with.
