    beatle's car looked hot...
cleaned it, took it up to the hills and got some nice artistic shots... The car looked the goods. And they we nice big printed 7x10 shots too!

I guess they just thought they had enough Supra's with Supra Club entered?

I'm the only one not to have received my letter from plex yet?!...
Although with only a handful of entrants, not sure I can be bothered towing the crazy cruiser down to the plex anymore..

    Heya Damo,

I am going to have to withdraw, looks like I will be heading to China *joy*.

I will email motorplex tonight to let them know, we should be able to get another OST car in my place though.

Damo: I've sent the email to motorplex and also advised them that you will be in contact with them to organise getting another OST member in.

Kind of hard to organise a good club showing, when it's so hit and miss as to who/if anyone gets in. Does put me off (yet again) entering this event in future.

well my OST cruiser got accepted... finally got my acceptance letter.

But I'm gonna withdrawl that also ...
I dont think its worth it for the handfull of people going. Plus I'm really hard up for cash at the moment...

I also have the same idea as Rudi - hopefully I can get another OST member to go in my place. Maybe beatle.. ?

I'll have to drop them an email and see if they can arrange a swap - but somehow I don't think it will work that way

    Will keep the updates coming

    Heya Damo,

Swaps are possible up to 31 December...need to be quick ! Although Motorplex still have final say, there's no harm in trying.

My cressida had a number on the envelope, spose its not an entrant number but a reference number type thing. (it was 485)

    Celica entrant number is 486.

Hopefully we can get dave and beatle in.

i appreciate the support for my money pit, but since my decline, i have pushed backed my finish date so i can do few other things to the old girl and get it where it desreves to be (albeit by my backyard spec) i still stand by my no workshop except tune build and no holidays this festive season means to be the way i want it = february finish date. + the "bolt on parts" i bought are not quite 'bolt on'. sometimes i wish i went chinesee, then i remebered why i didnt in the first place, patience is a virtue

Rudi - you already sent them an email to cancel your entry right?
I guess we dont need to worry about nominating Mike.

I have just sent them an email to cancel my entry, and Dave, I strongly recommended you and your car as a replacement.
Hopefully they will contact either me or you if this entrant swap takes place.

    cheers
