Not sure if you guys are aware but I transferred the DBA catalogue into excel for easy sort and search. The link is below:

very +rep worthy
does anyone know what the widest disk is that a Ln106 caliper can take.
also the Ln106 takes a 302 mm diamiter disk, so why exactly are people fileing them out.
if i missed something plz let me know, but it just desn't make much sence to me.
cheers Mike
the hilux calliper i have (think it's LN106) won't take anything thicker then 20mm, (posted a list of those rotors on the previous page), and they won't take a 302mm rotor when they're mounted to the corona strut, the strut means the calliper is mounted closer to the wheel center. if you wanted to space them out you'd be laughing though... but easier to machine the disc.
cheers

making brackets should not be much of an issue, has anyone looked at using rx8 rear discs, they are vented 18mm thick and the hat size is 43mm much like the pug rotor, the main diff being that its 300mm big. thoughts???
cheers mike
what sort of caliper would you mate to that.
the whole corona pug idea is biggest with minor custom work.
300mm rotor would require custom caliper bracket .... then you might as well look at
other ones etc ... becomes a larger exercise.
but none the less BA @ 18mm ... very good to know.![]()

If you are going to 300mm discs then just ditch the C/P/H combo and use Mazda RX7 Series 4 calipers, much lighter and lower profile.

though bloody hard to get ahold of... one mazda wreckers i spoke to suggested they don't part with series IV calipers for less then $400 a pair...

I think Takai means Series 5 as Series 4 use a 276mm disc whereas the 5 uses 294mm. If you could afford it, the 276mm Peugot rotor + Series 4 calipers would be great brake package. I considered it but at $400 plus another $300 for rebuild them it was too pricey for me. Instead I'm going to use either larger Pug or rear RX7 rotors with Commodore VP calipers. They are alloy and cheap; paid $40 for a complete set (front and rear) and at $50 a caliper to rebuild it's a very cost effective option.
been to the wreckers today to look at some hilux and landcruiser calipers and they are damn heavy. rx7 s4/5 seem to be popular so im gonna start hunting around. Any on else know of any other 4pot alloy calipers that are attainable by the average person, obviously z32 but these are hard to come by.
cheers mike
googleing now
z32 are the same as the skyline 32 callipers AFAIK, and they shouldn't be hard to get ahold of at all, last time i checked ebay had a pair for $250, but they're still a bloody heavy calliper.

I got my rx7 s4 calipers for $250 from japan.
