Nah, the blower relay in the cressy was just "Relay".
Oh yeah, while we are really off topic, you dont have to stress about the wiring diagrams, the car runs (ish), but the ish bit is plugs and fuel related im pretty sure.
Edit: I should've read the context..
Sometimes they have "Blower relay" printed on them, they are usually 5 pin, SPDT with the ouput shorting to ground when off.

Sorry to bring this back up..
Ok I am confused as to which is the netural/drive wire going to the cruise computer as the toyota wiriing diagram only stipulates the 3 wires going to the TCCS ECU but not what they are..
The problem here being that I am not running the standard ECU and am also running a manual gearbox..
If anyone can help me out and point me in the correct direction of what I should be doing to get the cruise control working it would be greatly appreciated..
Marc,
Here is mine between the brake and accelerator. As you can see I have disconnected the black and white wire to make it work. It will not turn off if you put it into neutral while on cruise control but how often do you do that?

I've edited my last post above to point to the correct file again for a detailed wiring diagram

Thanks Madmont and Steve for posting up that info, I will give it a go tomorrow and see how I go..
Awesome work guys. My S1 has a slightly different looking set-up to that, but disconnecting the bigger of the black wires with white trace sorted me out and has crusie working again.
Great writeup.
I had totally forgotten about giving this a try, just went out to the car, cut the big black wire with the white trace going to the cruise ecu. Took it for a drive and WOW the cruise is working once again! (has been 2 years) What a simply fix, and just think I had people a couple of years ago saying yeah we can do it just bring the car around and give me $50 and I will fix it for you..
Thanks again for the photos and diagrams..
If you cut it, consider heat shrinking the ends of the wire you cut (i heat shrunk the connection). I'm not sure what would happen if the black wire did contact something, but I figure for 10c worth of heat shrink it's better to be safe than sorry.
Big props to who ever figured out that removing the black/white wire in the cruise computer works.
Just did it on my manual converted MA70 and it worked a treat.
Cheers!

Just cutting the wire does work but its not the propper way of doing it , The wire is there to cut the cruise out if the T bar is moved to N or P while driving . I still havent wired mine properly but id guess the cut black white wire from the cruise ecu must now go to the cars new engine NSW.
Dave
I may reroute that wire through the clutch switch then.

Yep that will work fine .
I remember years ago i had cruise in a manual without a clutch switch , if id change gears fast it was ok but if i were slow the engine ended up redlining
