oil change

find out where GT's pads are

fix whitchy's crank seal and replace timing belt due to someone over tensioning it
whitchy's rocker cover gaskets which leak more than the exxon valdez (sp)

build my brake conversion and install struts
convert car from auto to manual
fit slicks and roll guards etc
oil change (fuck it, its just a 4a)

i forecast 0 sleep till wakefield me thinks

Finally got the car running yesterday, drove it all the way to Linden's only to find a massive leak from front main, and now apparently an over tightened timing belt and leaky rocker cover gaskets! I just love how varying peoples opinions of what 'rebuilding a motor' actually consists of! Garage re-builders FTMFL!!!
Hopefully should be all sorted out in time tonight, and if I still have any money left in my bank I will still make it!

Yeh ive got well worn RA1's so they get heat easily, as long as the showers are too heavy and dont form puddles it should be fine..

As for this evening, i'm going to say 7:30pm for the meet, and we'll leave when everyone's there. Brendan, see how you go, keep me posted. GriZZly, same with you guys, aim to get there at 7:30 and we'll leave soon after. If anyone's too late we can head off and they can catch up when we stop at macca's or BP.

The semis are on but they are at or below the TDI. Was having a look at the pads when i swapped the wheels last night, i am confident this will be the last time these pads see the track but that gives me an excuse to put on the new ones
