    hey guys
I thought i'd get in first, I know I said it never rains in Goulburn .which would explain why i'm not a weather forecaster. am going to drive the car down now just to get it dirty. my manager in Goulburn just told me it is the most rain they have had for months.

The BOM radar images show it as dry for now.

I'll be up there in an hour or so, I guess I'll see then.

Just got back from a look at WP and it was wet, wet and more wet. Was good to catch up with everyone and meet a few new people from here too.

Hopefully everyone has a safe trip home on the wet roads.

well, that was about the most fun you can have without getting your clothes off.. or guns/explosives.

MANY MANY spins had by most cars out there, and the tow truck drivers earnt their keep today. Spins a plenty were forecast (at the driver's briefing the guy was discussing passengers, and Linden's comment was "I think we're all going to be passengers at some point today), some highlights and lowlights:

    * while passenger in linden's car he was passed twice, and both times within 3 corners the car passing had spun.
    * matt sending the IS250 sideways across the grass at some stupid speed, effectively cutting out turns 1 & 2.
    * One of the MR2s getting VERY bogged off the end of turn 2, tow truck sent in to get it, tow truck got bogged so they had to send in the flat bed
    * Cuzzo (I think) doing 2 full spins (while the lap was on a red flag), only to catch it at the end of the 2nd spin and continue as if nothing happened

    Lowlights:

    * A yellow M3 and a Civic both having BIG offs at the end of the straight and going into the tyre wall. Neither looked in really great shape unfortunately Both happened in the last few hours... silver lining?
    * A random silver wrx was almost constantly spinning. I was terrified everytime I got near him, because another big off was never more than a lap away.
    * Not getting to see the GT8 in action
    * not being able to use full power anywhere
    * having to listen to linden bitch about how underpowered his car was

I've now wussed out, everyone else is probably buying piza and copious amounts of alcohol... tons of fun, and I actually enjoyed the wet a LOT

I dunno who dave was, but the black STi was much slower than I expected?

I had huge traction issues as well, but still kinda fun, constantly on the limit of spinning

He was on semi slicks...usually runs 1:08's so far from slow. He (like me) just had no chance of getting any heat into the tyres.

ahhh k. figured either retarded driver or broken car. Matt runs semis as well and was well faster (actually, his RT215s were REALLY impressive in the wet)

    Yep that was me.

Worked out good to have no cars left on the track behind me so i tried a bit of fun. It was a good day but in a different way to a dry day. Many many spins. Good to see everyone spinning out too cause i sure did. I think i spun out about 8-9 times. Hopefully catching a good one on video.

There was some very quick and nice cars there. Hope everyone got home safely also!
