Try Whiteline, i have seen something similar to the Kie Office links, just a matter of ensuring it fits.
The Tiens bolt up as per factory as they have the swaybar mount on the coil over body.
well
i have started putting my coilies in
as expected i have no mounts for the brake line and none for the swaybar
i am going to remove the swaybar completely until i find a suitable solution. probably gonna mount the swaybars to the LCA. should be easier.
i think the tein style ones mount to the big hole on bottom plate bit
should be something toyota/nissan that has those style of swaybar links from the factory?

have emailed whiteline
hopefully receive an answer by today
From the cressida forums thread
I made these by cutting the stock swaybar link in half and threaded the end.

My JIC golds arrived today.
Will be having a good look at them today...
i believe mine have swaybar links attached to the strut that hangs down and connects to the swaybar ..
Has anyone found a really good guide on how to actually install them step by step
as ive installed my GZ20 Soarer ones ez , but they are the basic single bolt bottoms with 3 bolt tops , takes about an hour, but these X81/X83 ones look way different ...
the JIC's usually come with shorter swaybar links as the mount point is lower compared to stock.
You can cut and modify the original sway bar links to suit if you dont have the JIC links.
Pretty easy, you just have to swap the whole wheel bearing and brake rotor stuff over onto the coilovers... So you gotta take off the brake caliper, pop out the bearing cap, use a screwdriver (or punch) and hammer to knock the 'kink lock' out of the huge nut (or just start undoing it with force and it should sort itself out) then once it's off swap it onto the coilover and then reverse the procedure.Originally Posted by coFF33
Can't remember but if the hub isn't coming off there should be two threaded holes you can screw bolts into which will pop it all out.
well here is my set :
Im missing the swaybar links on the fronts , (well they are chopped off)
should it be even easier seeing as i have rotor already there ?
you should be able to use the cut off-links to make a set from your originals. It's basically just a stock one cut in half, shortened, inserted into some tube and welded up.
Yeah man just depends which rotors you want to use. If all the stuff on the coilovers fits properly then there's no reason not to use them. I'd be using whichever rotors have the most thickness..![]()
JP , can u explain a bit better ,
cant i just use the current links of the stocker 1988 GX81 struts ?
the current links will be too long. Compare the swaybar link mount position on the stock strut to the JIC, the JIC's mount is lower and requires a shorter swaybar link. The JIC links are stock links shortened, by cutting a section out of the middle and then welding together. They use some tube to try and maintain some stiffness once the stock link has been shortened. I'll see if I can find a pic of a link I've modified previously.
You might be able to.. you'll have to wait till they're fitted and see... if not yeah just take the links to any fab shop and they should be able to extend them pretty easily...Originally Posted by coFF33
Or dont run a swaybar on the cruise and just drive easy.
For the swaybar links, if you look at page 9 and 10 of the whiteline catalogue (found here 1Mb) then see if you can find something that will fit if you don’t want to cut your links.
coFF33 - i have sent you the Tien instructions but remember that they have a swaybar mount and come with the link (see first page of this thread)
you send it via hotmail bigzop????????????
