    Default KE55 clutch adjustments

    Hey,
I just put my 4k back in my car and now the clutch isnt working. My gregory's repair manual says that the e clip should be 5-6 groves away from the washer. That doesnt seem to work. I have tried moving the e clip forwad and back but that doesnt work either.
I have also adjusted the pedal according to the specifications in my repair manual but that had no effect either. Now could this be something that I have not looked at yet? When I took the engine out I did not touch the other end of the clutch cable so I dont think it would be something there. Any suggestions on what it could be?

when adjusting clutch cable at firewall.. pull the cable out as far as it will go, then put clip in maybe 1 spot back.

are you sure neither end of the cable has come off/out? did you do anything to the clutch? is the clutch fork seated properly etc...

The other end of the cluch cable is stil on and I didnt even open the bellhousing so i doubt it would be something in there.

does the clutch fork even move when the clutch goes in? that will rule out internal problems

forward with less grooves? or more grooves?

if you pull it out as hard as you can, there should be little free play in the pedal..

how much pedal free travel is there now before the cable takes up?

I have tried it with all the groves in between the washer and the e-clip and have had it so there is no grooves between them.

well atm there is no grooves between the washer and e-clip. there is about 1-2cm free play before the cable takes up.
