    1MZFE engine bolts up to a SA63 Celica box, I'm pretty sure.

    It was me with the V6 rt142 and i want another one, The response and torque is awesome but id go a manual version. Mount it close to the firewall and spend a bit on the suspension. Supercharge it too mmmmmmm.

    not if you want to fit a starter motor as the block has a massive flange on the back of it.

    VZ series would be the way to go and i dare say with a little bit of playing around you could get the SA63 bell on the back of it, may need a custom flywheel though (havn't checked so this is an assumption)

    the 5VZ was available from prado's etc so its already N/S just a matter of mating up a block and you would have a shiteload of torque on tap.
