right rear tyre plus left front tyre wearing faster = those wheels have mroe weight on them>

any chance you could corner weight it and see if you have a big difference? maybe your left rear or right front springs have collapsed?

I do tend to drive a bit hard and fast round
roundabouts. One has to be real quick over
here when pouncing out from your junction
to enter a roundabout - the oncoming cars
from the right are real fast and agressive,
and most times won't give you way. Thanks.

I had exactly the same issue with my TA22 years
ago. Spent a lot of time (and money) on new s
    teering/suspension components and having the
allignment set up to spec but it would still pull to
    one side.

Put the car up on a jig at the smash repairers and
found one of the front chassis rails and strut tower
was slightly out (and it was only mm). Got the
chassis/strut tower pulled back into position and
    no more problems.

I'll see if I can get the chassis checked out sometime.
I did think that the main frame might be misaligned too.
But I doubt if anyone here can detect a chassis
misalignment of just a few mm, let alone know how
to correct it to that precision. Thanks.

But I was thinking, wouldn't any distortion of the
chassis show up as out-of-specs alignment
settings too, such as camber or caster ?

its actually the other way round stu.

because they have less weight on them they have more of a tendancy to slip therefore increased wear. the loaded wheels have more grip which means less slip and therefore less wear.

chassis' suck arse to figure out but once you have done it a few times it starts to get easier.

castor is adjustable via the 2 nuts on the strut bar, it leads forward from the lower control arm to the tiebar (or lower rad support)

It could be as simple has driving it hard round more right hand corners than left, on underinflated tyres. 20,000kms before this wear starts to show suggests to me it isn't a massive alignment issue - that'd chew "This current set of tyres, Imperium, an Indonesian
brand, aren't particularly reliable." out much faster.

    Hello,

I have the same problem as described in this thread, on my car.
The Springs have been cut and the car has had a strut brace installed, was like this when i bought it, could these factors contribute to the wear?

    Thanks.

The height of the car seems to be
quite even all round, but perhaps you
are right. The front left spring may not
    be so "springy" any more.

Corner weight it ..... you mean drive
round corners hard and fast and see
if the car leans heavily ?

I'll see if I can change the entire set. Can't
really find used ones for the KE70 at salvage
yards over here any more. I'll have to buy the
local ones made by this APM company here in
Malaysia, not very durable nor cheap either. I
wonder if they make both front and rear springs
for the KE70. They also make poor quality shock
    absorbers, supposedly "under license" from
Tokico. My last front pair made by them leaked
their entire oil content after just over a year.
